Study: Mycovirus identification from human pathogenic fungi Aspergillus fumigatus and its related species
show Abstracthide Abstract
Fragmented and primer-Ligated DsRNA Sequencing (FLDS) technology is a promising method for identification of complete RNA viral genomes. In the present study, we for the first time adopted FLDS technology for the comprehensive screening of mycovirus. Total of 156 isolates of human pathogenic fungi Aspergillus fumigatus and its related species were investigated. Purified dsRNAs from the samples were specifically converted into dsDNA, and resultant dsDNAs were sequenced by the Illumina MiSeq platform.
